Quiet place, good for sleep and recover. Nice interior design. Breakfast was really great, mix of continental and traditional dishes. Staff was helpful and polite. In reality hotel looks much better than in photos :)

Fabulous views of the lake from our large room and lovely staff and service. Breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked. Easy walk into the city. Tour was provided with local tuk tuk driver who went out of his way to ensure we saw everything we could. Thoroughly recommend this comfortable and affordable accomodation.

Our stay at Mountbatten Bungalows was perfect. We came at a full rest after touring Sri Lanka for about 2 weeks at the breathtaking (shaded ;-)) pool, in the beautiful garden and during the lovely diners/breakfast outside. The staff and management was very friendly and the chalets very comfortable.

The hotel is so nice! It’s new and very comfortable, with wonderful view! It was possible to order dinner and breakfast. The food was local, interesting and really nice at a reasonable price. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

First and foremost, the owner (Sorry, I couldn't get his name 🫣) welcomed us & showed everything in a very heartfelt manner. Facilities & cleanliness were superb. Location is so calm & during the stay, I actually had the thought of even extending the period of stay. When we go to Kandy, there are no second thoughts of choosing the same place.
