I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The room was great, and the air-conditioning was a much-appreciated bonus. The staff were diligent and friendly, always ready to provide perfect information about the area. The food was lovely, with a wide variety of delicious options. There was plenty of parking available, and the hotel's location was ideal, just a 15-minute walk to the charming old town. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that I highly recommend!

Hotel Sarmata is housed in a renovated historic complex that dates back to 1861 and it is situated right next to the Opatowska Gate - the entrance to the Old Town.

A very good accomodation, not too far from the train station (about a kilometer) which was important for us as we were coming and leaving by train. It is also not too far from the old town, there is a direct bus every 40 minutes, or there is an option to walk for about 30 minutes, it was a nice walk that we did several times during our stay. The owner is very friendly and she can tell you everything you need to know about the old town. Our room was spacious, clean and very good looking, the bed mattress was hard (which I liked, but my partner didn't) and pillows were OK. On our first day the room was a bit cold, but we could heat it up using the air conditioner. On the next days the room was perfectly hot, probably because all the other guests heated up theirs too. The room is well equipped, a bottle of water is provided, and there are coffee and tea making amenities, and also a fridge is available. The breakfast is amazing, a very big number of choices, very tasty and good quality. I have stayed in many hotels in the past years, and had the 2 best of my all time breakfasts in Poland, the one at Camelot is one of them, the food is better than what is provided in many 4* and 5* hotels. There are freshly cooked hot items, pancakes and plenty of cold options, the selection is truly amazing!
