The hotel is well designed the stuff were the best we've encountered in all of Austria, very professional with a vast knowledge of wines especially Stefani! An impressive young woman who run the hotel better then many others twice her age who has a lot to learn from her. The food was lovely, breakfast and dinner included! Plenty of diversity in the breakfast buffet. They were very patient with our requests and equestrians about the area and about their wines. The Finnish sauna and the swimming pool were a great addition to an already wonderful stay!

We’ve stayed here several times. It's a small, cozy hotel set above a vineyard, with a peaceful view over the valley. If you’re lucky, you might even spot deer running through the vines. Breakfast is excellent, with a nice variety of local products. The freshly made scrambled eggs were especially delicious. We also tried the local wine and really enjoyed it. We’ve stayed in both a room with a terrace and one with a balcony. The room with the terrace was larger and more modern, but both were cozy, with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. After-hours check-in is available, with the key waiting in a mini safe. Parking is available as well. The staff is friendly, especially the woman who welcomed us at breakfast. She was warm and attentive to every guest, and it made me wish I spoke German just to be able to chat with her more. The region is beautiful and charming, and we’ll definitely be back!

Set in the centre of the wine village Gamlitz along the South-Styrian Wine Road, a 3-minute walk from the castle, Hotel am Marktplatz - Landgasthof Wratschko - Gamlitz offers fine Styrian and international cuisine. Free WiFi is available in all areas and guests benefit from free shuttle services in the village. Although I’ve stayed just for 1 night passing through on my journey I was upgraded to a nice room which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. They also allowed me to have breakfast earlier in order to leave - very rich breakfast and nice restaurant I’ve experienced for dinner. Overall I can highly recommend this place, wish I’d have had more time to explore - next time :)

Stefan and Verena were wonderful energetic hosts who made every effort to make us comfortable and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very helpful with suggestions for walks in the area, as well as for restaurants and other local eating places. The room was very comfortable and breakfasts were great.

The rooms at the Platschberg Hotel all have a flat-screen TV, a desk, and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Some have a balcony. Perfect place for relaxing in nature besides swimming pool. Breakfast was delicious with excellent variety of everything that you can imagine. The hosts was very friendly and helpful..

The property has city views and is 39 km from Graz Central Station and 39 km from Casino Graz. There is a restaurant serving Austrian cuisine, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. The location was impeccable, in the very center of the town close to everything. The parking is located just outside the pension. The hosts were extremely polite and communicative. The building is historic so you get the aristocratic feeling while being there. It was winter and despite being located in the attic room it was extremely cosy and warm.

Wine cellar tours are organised on request and guest can start each day with a breakfast at Skoff Original. A sun terrace and a garden are provided for the guests’ relaxation and children can romp around on a playground. Lovely people who made our stay special.
