It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. The host was amazing and gave us a lot of information. The room was spacious, clean and with a great view to the Matternhorn

The hotel was great , very traditional and comfortable décor . it was actually better than expected as the photos don't really do it justice , especially the pool etc . we had a great view of Zermatt from our 3rd floor balcony . breakfast was also great .

WiFi in the entire building and transport from Zermatt Train Station from 07:00 o'clock to 21:00 o'clock are both offered for free. There is also an outdoor tennis court on site . We loved our stay at Alpen Resort & Spa! Thanks for the upgrade to a room with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn! We really enjoyed the outdoor whirlpool and all the other spa facilities as well. The hotel is close to all the shops and restaurants in Zermatt. Accommodating staff. Afternoon cake and tea. We could use the spa during our last day as well which was very convenient as our train back was leaving in the evening.

Located around 28 km from Train station Montreux, the hotel with free WiFi is also 25 km away from Chillon Castle. Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a mountain view. The room was big enough for the 4 of us; we also had a balcony and a nice view down the valley. Nice breakfast in the morning, very enjoyable space in the lounge. We had a walk in the village in the evening, really enjoyed that, we could even see the Leman/Geneva lake from a location there.

Chandolin Boutique Hotel is set at 2,000-metre altitude on one of Europe's highest inhabited villages. It offers a ski-out situation, a gourmet restaurant, panoramic mountain views, a sauna, steam room, relaxation room as well as our outdoor Nordic baths. I've stayed here 2x before and came back because it's such a lovely place in a great location - two minutes' walk from the bus station at Chandolin Poste, two minutes from the grocery shop, and with an amazing breakfast and dinner offerings. The rooms (I stayed in the bunk bed option but by myself) are very comfortable, with a great bathroom setup (rain shower!), comfy bed, water, coffee machine and pods, and lift access to the rooms. The staff are truly lovely and let us store our overnight bags before and after our stay while we went to work up on the mountain.
