We had 2 rooms with the lake view. Well, the view is fantastic. We were leaving for Tikal and the sunrise on the lake was breathtaking. The rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. The staff packed our breakfast to go which helped get us ready for a day of Tikal exploration. The hotel is 2 minute walk to the "I Love Peten" sign from which most of Tikal tours leave and 10 minutes ride to the airport which the hotel provided a shuttle for. Nice hotel not far from Tikal. Lovely hammock to relax in. Free filtered water was a bonus. Large bed and our room had a lovely lake view.
Lovely location, lake view rooms do have a great view. Terrace overlooking lake is fantastic too should you wish to relax. The staff speak very little English so be prepared to practice your Spanish! It is on the quieter side of Flores Island.
So lovely with a very relaxed atmosphere, it was nice to informally congregate to watch the sunset from the dock. The food was brilliant, and the staff were friendly and very helpful.
Lovely big rooms that were super clean and tidy. We loved our little balcony over the pool. Great place to relax and slow down.
The staff were lovely best part of our stay. The accommodation is basic. If you like a little bit of luxury this is not for you. Jungle Lodge would be the place for you.
Gorgeous location, lovely and helpful staff, delicious and generous food. Spotlessly clean and super relaxing. Loved it!
Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Nice room and super courtyard to relax in (with hammocks on upper level). Pleasant swimming pool area. Easy walk to Floes Island and nearby restaurants.
Great experience! The lodge is in the middle of the jungle, but at the same time has a lot of luxury: there's a lovely pool area, the restaurant is good and the shared bathrooms are big, clean and modern (and I didn't see anyone else there, so didn't feel like a shared bathroom at all). The room is cute - definitely more a hotel than a hostel vibe. Plus obviously the tours are amazing :)
The bar and restaurant is beautiful. They also have a great relaxation area with hammocks, a pool table and seats. Good to go chill and be on your phone or to meet people. The staff were great - really friendly and helpful. I spoke a lot with Juan. He was lovely! It’s a bit of a hub of the town. Seems like everyone goes there to book tours, and they have a back room for dancing.
