The bed and breakfast has a barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Great place in a perfect location, right in Thamel but far enough from all the busy streets. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is delicious and the rooms and specially the beds are super comfortable. We stayed both times when we were in Kathmandu, definitely recommend!

Offering a spa and wellness centre and sun terrace, Taleju Boutique Hotel is situated in the Thamel district in Kathmandu, 900 metres from Hanuman Dhoka. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. Taleju Boutique Hotel exceeded all expectations! Januka, Pratikshya and the entire team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. On my birthday, they generously upgraded our room and provided exceptional service. The food was incredible, thanks to Roshan and the F&B team who added special touches to make the experience even more memorable. Even the security guards, though I didn't catch their names, were enthusiastic and welcoming. Their service is truly more than 5 stars – they treat you like royalty, making you feel like a prince and princess. Wholeheartedly recommend Taleju Boutique Hotel for its remarkable hospitality and precision. A truly memorable experience!

Rooms have a flat-screen TV. Some rooms include a seating area to relax in after a busy day. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. The rooms have a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. Our family of four (two adults and two teenagers) from Australia stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel before and after our EBC trek, and it truly felt like a calm and comfortable base in busy Kathmandu. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the King Room with Mountain View offered nice glimpses of the hills beyond the city. Another thing what impressed us was the way the hotel supported our trekking plans. The night before our flight to Lukla, the weather reports started looking uncertain. We were nervous, but the front desk staff immediately offered to help us contact our trekking agency and even helped rearrange our early morning transport. Their local knowledge and calm support really reassured us. They also stored our excess luggage safely during the trek and had it ready in our room when we returned, tired but happy after 12 days in the mountains. If you are trekking in Nepal and want a hotel that understands the needs of trekkers: early breakfasts, flexible check-ins, and helpful logistics, Apsara Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for families and adventure seekers alike!

Offering a restaurant, Mayur Restaurant that serves Indian and regional cuisines, Peacock Guest House is located 100 metres from the City Centre. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of the property. We stayed in the heritage room overlooking the Square - and as described you need to climb the stairs to get to this room and the private rooftop area. There are not many places you can get to stay in a hotel with such history and heritage. Very happy with this hotel, and room selection. if you have mobility issues - this may not be the room for you - select an alternate room on a lower floor. Meals at this hotel were fabulous, loved the soda drink menu! i tried nearly all of them ! Meals are served in a very beautiful internal courtyard decorated with wood carvings and plants. Owners and staff were very very helpful with any of the questions we asked, and assisted us with our bags on arrival and departure; organised taxi to the airport (excellent rate). Located on a nice quiet square, and it was magical to sit by the window and watch the scene change during the day. Easy walk from this hotel to the other squares in Bhaktapur. Thoroughly recommend at least 1-2 nights in this city to explore and unwind. Excellent wifi at all time, in our room and in courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and will defintely be staying here again.

At The Dwarika’s Group of Hotels and Resorts, our ethos is about giving back to our guests, to Nepal, and to the planet – a philosophy that informs all that we do. We hold at our core a deep respect for the cultural and natural heritage of Nepal. The commitment to heritage conservation dates back to 1952. Our actions are always directed toward the restoration, conservation, preservation, and revival of the architectural, cultural, social, and natural heritage of Nepal. In line with these central principles, we constantly endeavor to nurture both people and the planet and to maximize the positive impact that we have on our surroundings and community. As such, with the aim to fulfill our responsibility towards Mother Nature and promote sustainability, the Dwarika’s Group is moving firmly towards an organic lifestyle of zero-waste. Further, by using Nepali design, artifacts, linen, and upholsteries we promote local skills that are inherently Nepali, we seek to revive crafts and cultural knowledge that are indigenous to Nepal. Spa and Bathroom amenities are made in-house in the Pancha Kosha Himalayan Spa drawing inspiration from ancient Ayurveda, Buddhist medicine, and traditional Himalayan Knowledge using Himalayan herbs. We implement and encourage natural, indigenous, and organic agricultural methods in our six eco-organic farms spread across the country hence preserving the environment. Celebrating the abundance that nature has bestowed we make a conscious effort to serve unadulterated, natural, and authentic culinary delights that are pure and natural following the Food Principles of serving organic, seasonal, and less travel food where possible in an effort to make a difference where we can. I would consider no other facility in Kathmandu. It is beautiful, clean, detail oriented, and has amazing staff.
