It is situated 400 metres from Patan Durbar Square and provides luggage storage space. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Mr. Pradeep and family welcomed me with a warm smile when I reached the property. I immediately felt at home. It’s a beautiful traditional Nepali house just 3 minutes from Patan Durbar square for anybody who likes to experience this unique place. Equipped with fridge, kettle, water, fresh towels, slippers etc. it’s a traditional house so do not expect huge luxurious bathrooms but it is clean and small. The hearty breakfast served by the host and conversations are priceless. I stayed here for 2 days and had the best time. I highly recommend to anybody interested in unique traditional stay experience.

All staff were exceptionally kind and went out of their way to assist, making my stay very pleasant.

This is a wonderful little hotel in an alley just off the main hustle of Thamel. Everything was great - I had a room on the 5th floor and had a very quiet night there. The room was light and well equipped, the shower was hot with good pressure. There is a lift which was a big help with my huge luggage. The breakfast was tasty with quite a few choices. A special thank you to the amazing staff! They truly were so helpful and kind! All in all a great value for money, I spent a while looking for a place in Thamel and was happy to have finally chosen this hotel.

For your comfort, you will find bath robes, slippers and free toiletries. Perfect hotel for trekkers, hotel provides different service related to trekking, staff there are so knowledgeable. We didn't requested but they packed the breakfast for us before leaving for trek, very thoughtful. Food at restaurant was delicious....Thank you team!

Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of the property. Everything was great, especially the helpful staffs. The building itself is amazing and well-maintained. It’s so lucky to stay in a such magical place.

Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. The Tibetan-style house has 64 cosy bedrooms, an in house restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is free in its public areas. A wonderful hotel with excellent service. I stayed there for five days after trekking to Everest. I specifically chose it because it was close to Boudhanath. This was my third hotel in Kathmandu, and I was satisfied. The room was clean, odorless, and insect-free. The hotel administrator helped with any problems, calling a taxi, and other questions. The hotel was quiet and peaceful, with mostly older guests. The breakfasts were delicious, and the hotel restaurant, while expensive, was very good.

There are different kinds of restaurants and small shops like fruits, flower shops nearby. And the a-m-a-z-ing Saturday Market is just here.

Karma Boutique Hotel features free WiFi, parking and 24 hour front desk. The accommodation was extremely hygienic and cozy, despite being centrally located, the environment was peaceful. The property was impeccably maintained, even by European standards. Additionally, I received a complimentary upgrade to their double room.
