The entire estate was very beautiful, and the owner and the staff were very friendly and hospitable to my family. Beautiful old house, located just a few minutes' walk from the Meoto Iwa rocks in a small village, easily accessible by train from Ise. It was a great place to visit Meoto Iwa and Ise. The room was big, with seaview, and the dinner courses were fantastic. Very good breakfast as well.

The cutest old lady who runs the whole guesthouse. She couldn't speak english but we communicated anyway and she tried her best! She even let me use the washing machine and dryer. I had a great stay, arigatou gozaimasu!

To start off, if you arrive at Toba Train Station between 1430-1800, they provide free shuttle service to the hotel, which otherwise would be a 20 minute walk. Look for their name beside their car. The staff were friendly to a fault and even if they can't keep up with English, they'd do anything to help you. The place is old, that's what you get for looking for an onsen ryokan but it's well maintained and the cuisine offered was faultless.
