Everything is top notch, room is spacious and clean with daily room service, staff is extremely friendly, warm and hospitable. I would like to express my great gratitude to Iwasaki (岩崎） at dining and Yamada (山田泰子） at reception, they are doing their best to make customers happy with great smile 😃 Not forgetting to mention the meals which is very delicious, ingredients are fresh and with great variety. Oh dear I starts to missed the place so much 😄

This place was magical! It was everything we expected and much more! The rooms were impeccable, the pool beautiful and historic, the meals were truly exceptional, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, the site is historical and it was covered in snow when we arrive. We will definitely recommend it!

We had an absolutely lovely time in Micasa, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast (sadly we didn't book dinner with them) delightful and the common baths very nice. It was possible to book a private bath for an hour for a reasonable price which was a pleasant surprise. The furniture and interior seems very fresh, yet traditional and very comfortable. Thank you very much for a nice stay!

Beautiful location. This was my first time staying in a traditional Japanese Ryokan and it was amazing. The dinner and breakfast buffet was wonderful, the onsen was lovely, and my room was so peaceful. I miss it already! Great place to stay to ski Tenjindaira- convienent bus across the street.
