Staff were trained so well and professionally did their part (job). It was if everyone knew exactly what our needs were at the exact time.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a lift and luggage storage for guests. Getting there was very easy and easily accessible by a direct bullet train from Tokyo and then just bussing it up - they also have coaches available to take you to and from the JR station if requested. The room was amazingly clean and big - the food as well was very nice especially for a ryokan where the food can sometimes be a hit and miss. The public onsens were also very nice with amenities and drinks everywhere. The most impressive thing about our stay was definitely the service - everyone is very nice - we had Akira, who looked after us most and he was extremely kind and attentive during our stay. I usually dont think it makes a very large difference but this was something else. Last thing is we came on a Mon/Tues - which seems to be the quietest time for them, with maybe seeing around 6 or 7 other groups in total hanging around on Monday and a bit more on Tuesday - which we liked as the public onsens were basically empty if you came in the off peak times and the whole place was very quiet. Though there are alot of facilities catering for larger crowds inside the onsen and outside so if you do want a bit of atmosphere I would reccommend booking closer to the weekend. All in all our stay here was very nice and would definitely reccommend.

The ryokan features sea views and a sun terrace. beautiful total waterfront location , go look for sea glass and ceramics, with incredible breakfast and luxury room especially the bath.

It was a really nice place. I arrived late because I had some sightseeing to do, but I enjoyed the tatami room, bath, and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, and the area is surrounded by woods and ocean. Fukui is a very special area that not many people see, so I recommend visiting it if you get the chance.

The area is popular for cycling and fishing, and bike hire is available at this 3-star ryokan. The food was excellent. Dinner was lovely and fresh and the staff were extremely warm and welcoming towards us all. The lake view is gorgeous- we loved it!

Its beautiful and traditional facility is complimented by the exceptional service from all staff. The rooms are quiet, very clean and elegant. Most enjoyable is the Onsen bath. I would highly recommend.

Lounge was good. Food was good. Nothing to complain. Only thing if they have coin laundry will do wonders for me.
