Conveniently located in central Kyoto, Ryokan KANADE offers a Japanese-style garden. Among the facilities of this property are a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Every room includes a terrace. Kyoto Station is a 15-minute drive from this property. The place was beautiful. My only regret is not taking the in-house breakfast and dinner.

A snack bar and drinks vending machine are available at this ryokan. There is an on-site hot spring open-air bath, 2 indoor public baths in addition to a sauna facility. Massage service is also provided at a surcharge. Luggage storage is offered, while laundry service is offered at an additional charge. The location close to the centre. The facilities, the hot spring, my son and I simply loved it. Nice and charming staff, good meal. Definitely, we wouldn’t repeat the experience there.

It provides a tour desk and a bar on the ground floor. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Absolutely loved this place. The staff were all so friendly, and the two ladies that helped with the kimonos are incredible and beautiful humans. We wish we could have stayed longer with them, it was the perfect stay!

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. We had a fantastic time during the two nights that we stayed at this Ryokan. Hachi-san and his family are lovely people and went absolutely above and beyond to make our stay not only memorable but in fact unforgettable. When comparing the food to the other Ryokans and Minshukus we stayed at we felt that here it was the highest quality and also everything was explained to us clearly and proactively, how to enjoy all the different dishes. Hachi-san took many great photos of us and even gave us a lift to the train station when we checked out. Luggage forwarding worked great aswell.

Rooms feature tatami-mat flooring, comfortable futon bedding and paper sliding screens. They are fitted with an LCD TV and a safe. Bathroom facilities are shared, and the public baths are open 16:00-22:00 and 06:00-09:00 daily. The temple and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The room was the nicest I've had on this trip - comfortable and beautiful. The temple is cold but the heaters in the bedrooms made it very comfortable. The meals were delicious - again some of my best on my entire trip. They were very generous in sharing information about their religion and culture, and inviting tourists to participate in activities that helped us to better understand the life and routine at Ekoin. I appreciated the booklet in the room that explained how to navigate different things (e.g. the meditation, the morning service) so that I better understood. It was a special experience and was grateful for the opportunity to visit here.

Some units in the ryokan have private entrance and are equipped with wardrobe and tatami. Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.

Kanko Ryokan Yamato features city views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Ikoma, 8.8 km from Iwafune Shrine. The property is around 9.1 km from Higashiosaka Hanazono Rugby Stadium, 12 km from Nippon Christ Kyodan Shijonawate Church and 12 km from Shijonawate City Museum of History and Folklore. The ryokan has family rooms.

At the ryokan, each unit comes with a tatami and a TV. At the ryokan, all units have a shared bathroom with slippers and free toiletries. A great place to spend your day away from big cities and sights flooded with tourists. This is a ryokan so you get a nice futon bed, tatami floor, yukatas. The view from our room was great! We’ve also ordered a delicious Japanese style breakfast. The public bath is actually two rooms that have a lock, so you could go inside with your family together. This was very nice for me because I’ve been traveling with my partner and a 1,5y son. The area is quiet and nice. There is a temple you need to go uphill. The area is mountainous with lots of stairs. You take the cable car to get there. Keep in mind that there are no supermarkets there, you need to go down by cable car to Ikoma. But there are some restaurants and cafes so you won’t get hungry. I think it’s even more beautiful in fall, you can enjoy momiji. We’ve stayed in late March and the weather was not the best, like 10-15 C. So we’ve used a heater in the room and in the bath. Don’t hesitate to ask the owner to show you how to use it
