Staying at Maki's place (2 nights) has been one of our highlights of our 17 days trip to Japan. This accommodation secluded in the forest is FANTASTIC! We couldn't thank more Maki and her mom for showing us the traditional Japanese hospitality. Food and onsen are great!!!

All of the staff were extremely friendly and warm, and the outdoor onsen was incredible. The shower products were also wonderful and great on the skin and hair, and the meals served were so delicious. All in all an unforgettable experience. Just outside was a bus stop that took you to the ropeway leading up to the Chuo Alps. I would come here again!

The breakfast was delightful, and I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of allowing guests to use the dining area for takeaway dinners. What truly set this experience apart, however, were the people. A heartfelt thank-you to Keisuke and Aisha for their exceptional hospitality. They made my stay so memorable and special that I found myself wishing I could extend my visit. Residence Yasushi is truly a gem!

Hot Spring was great with clean hot bath, and the staff welcomed us kindly even we arrived close to 9 pm.
