We do not speak Japanese and the staff was kind and helpful, sometimes using Google translate to help communicate. Everything was excellent.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. breakfast was excellent, it didn't seem much at first but once you started, the flavor of the different vegetables accompanied by the selected rice was incredible. Also loved the sake pairing of our French dinner.

Everything was perfect for our last night in Japan, from the greeting to the onsen and finishing with a multiple course dinner, my wife and I felt great! Staff are very professional and friendly in arranging everything to make the stay comfortable. We had a very relaxed and contented stay. Both dinner and breakfast were amazingly delicate and delicious. We had our meal by the hearth and feel so warm and wonderful. This inn offers a very exclusive experience staying in the countryside.
