Loved the tranquil and quiet environment of the place. The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was only a short walk to the “beach”. Easily accessible by car and dedicated parking was available. Staff was friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed in the penthouse with our children for two days only (unfortunately) but it was enough to feel the wonderful atmosphere of this place with history. It is a special home in a special city. The beds were very comfortable, and the sound of the church bells added a unique charm. The balcony was cozy and offered a beautiful view. The house itself is full of interesting details that make it truly memorable. The owners were very welcoming. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would gladly come back again.

An amazing homestay with caring and welcoming hosts. We got an amazing appartment with a fully equipped kitchen, seating in the garden full of roses and a comfortable bed. Everything was clean and tidy. The location must be great for cycling. The closest lake (Hintersee) is approx. 5 km from the appartment. Othwerwise Faistenau has a bigger supermarket, bakery and a few restaurants.

Norman und Irine were of great help to us, picking us up from the airport and dropping us in Salzburg, brought us an umbrella and iron when we needed it, very nice and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfortable in a great location, close to the lake and center of St. Gilgen. We definitely will come again. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of staying at a peaceful hilltop apartment that exceeded all expectations. The apartment provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere, far away from the noise of busy roads. The true highlight of the apartment were the two balconies, offering awe-inspiring views of the surrounding landscapes. Waking up to such natural beauty was truly remarkable, creating a sense of calm and providing the perfect backdrop for memorable moments spent with loved ones. What made the experience even more memorable was the warm hospitality of the owners. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable.     Lovely traditional house with modern twists. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly host who was very welcoming. Good location for several lakes but away from the crowds. Quiet location with lovely views. Kitchen well equipped although a small freezer and a microwave would have been useful.

    Clear instructions for arrival, very nice owner. The value was amazing. The apartment had everything we needed for three night stay except I would add salt and pepper to kitchen. We want to come back.

    This accommodation was very nice and clean, well equipped, the kitchen has literally everything you can think of, everything is new/renovated and for a very good price you get everything that you need, the only thing we were sorry about was that we couldn’t stay longer, we loved the place so much! The owner was friendly, place was in a good location (you do need to have a car though if you want to go around). If you have the chance to stay here, definitely do!
