The property is spectacularly set within a natural jungle in the cloud forest. The host, Giovanny is wonderfully responsive and friendly. The property is immaculately maintained and very comfortable. We had a beautiful 4 day stay in our dome on the hill. The property is very quiet and peaceful. Transportation to and from the center of Mindo and to attractions is very easy and affordable by taxi. Giovanny was very helpful in arranging anything we needed during our stay and he had really great suggestions for our time in Mindo. He offered transportation to and from Quito at a very reasonable rate and we took him up on the offer. He provided a very comfortable and enjoyable ride from Quito to the property and he even made a stop for us at the center of the world. We would definitely come back and stay again.

It’s in a beautiful secluded location, a proper little garden of Eden. We loved the outdoor kitchen living area where we could experience the cloud forest with all its sounds and sights day and night. Our host Andres is relaxed, friendly and a great source of local knowledge and information, very helpful.

The interior is furnished nicely and still feels new. It’s also clean, and it’s perfect for groups as there are two bedrooms. The toilet is also nice. Most of the house has warm lighting, including the toilet, giving it a cosy feel at night that I love. The windows are gigantic and frame the stunning scenery outside. It’s a tucked away location so very quiet at night (except if cicadas decide to have a party in the house). The host was also friendly and accommodating and we loved her.

We had a very comfortable stay. Due to a village level electricity cut we were without electricity for a few hours, they brought us candles and lighter to be able to cook. Very nice support.

Interiors were beautiful and so was the setting. Breakfast on the terrace was memorable. Quiet and serene environment.

The room we were allocated was large. The bathroom was also a good size. It was very clean. There was good hot water and water pressure. The staff were excellent. The hotel is a little out of the town, but this adds to the charm of the place. You feel like you're in the jungle. At the time of our stay there were no bugs. I would stay here again. I definitely recommend it to this who visit Mindo...so long as you don't mind a 10 min walk to town. I think it's worth the effort.
