The town of Velventos was even better than we had anticipated. People are friendly and hospitable. There are lots of great restaurants, tavernas, and cafés in the town square. Full of life and happiness. Polyfutou Lake and the surrounding areas offer many types of activities from fishing to climbing and natural sightseeing that you won't find anywhere else in Greece.
