Very cosy cottage with a wonderful view towards the mountains. We were a family of 4 with little space and loved it. Small modern and sufficient kitchen were we ate breakfast and cooked easy dinner (one cooking plate).

Everything from majestic location to absolutely amazing cleanliness to the kitchenette and so much more. The apartment from inside is super modern, huge bathroom and if you are lucky you can see northern lights from inside the apartment. Most stunning apartment I have ever lived in. Would happily come back and stay again.

I am so very happy with our stay at ChickenCoop. The position is amazing, like right out of an National Geographic Picture. It was so peaceful and relaxing, only thing I could hear was the little stream outside our house! House itself was beautifully arranged inside, very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious! I was very pleased to find coffe, oil, tea and other things useful for cooking, as I completely forgot to buy oil 🙄 . Communication with owner was flawless! Directions for check in were very clear. If you are looking for a place were to stay while driving on the ring road, look no further, this place is perfect! ❤ Can't wait to come back soon!

These cabins are worth every penny. Our stay was amazing, by far the best of our entire Iceland trip. The cabins are/look brand new (October 2022) so very modern, have all the luxury you can think off and everything is clean and nice. You can recognize styling in every detail. The view is amazing! It’s THE best spot for Northern Light spotting with those big windows. We put the couch in front of the tall window and looked all night at the bright sky full of stars and yes, a glimpse of Northern Light. If you visit these cabins, the breakfast is a must: fresh, luxurious, diverse, delicious and plenty.

    It's quite place in the nature. The hot tube just infront is priceless. Well equipped kitchen and bbq are great side there's only 1 restaurant nearby. Do your shopping in advance, there's no grocery store around.

    Katrín is a very kind host and her dog Mosi is super sweet :-) The place was beatiful, in a quiet and small village, she lives there and is always ready to give support The cottages are big, very comfy and clean, and we managed to use the outdoor hot tub at night Please remember to leave the spaces, including kitchen, clean like you found it
