2.4 miles walk from the airport on a dedicated bike trail until a residential area. Extremely accommodating host who lives on the property with facts who is there to give advice and recommendations. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Iceland. The double bed is elevated about 3 feet off the floor which was mildly challenging for 2 75 year olds.

It was very clean and nice. We felt like at home. Small details are important, and we saw many nice small details that made our stay very pleasant. It was warm when we arrived. There was nothing missing in the kitchen. We regret that we didn’t find this place one night earlier!

    The Bay View apartment is a very special place, a big apartment with great style at the sea side. Unforgettable is the sight from the hot tub to the bay, but also the living room and kitchen are simply extraordinary. Gardur is a great base to visit the Reykjanes peninsula and as location nearby the airport. We loved it- and would like to come back!

    The cottage was nicely decorated and reasonably well appointed for a self-catering stay. The location was perfect for exploring the Reykjanes Peninsula by car and was about 10 minutes’ drive from the large supermarkets of Keflavik. It was very peaceful and close to the lovely walking trail to the lighthouse.

The mattresses are good quality ( Memory foam) - shower is strong- shampoo,conditioner&shower gel provided are professional with essential oil (Icelandic products) tv with Netflix works well. Kitchen has everything needed-salt coffee , sugar , tea etc nepresso gusto dolce machine are provided along with plenty capsules of chocolate, americano, latte and cappuccino
