We were really impressed with the cottage. It was nicer than we had expected. Very cosy inside, great views of the scenery and it had almost everything we needed. The furnishings were lovely and colour coordinated with the landscape around us. Each cottage was far enough away from the others so that you had privacy. Probably 5-10 minutes drive from Vik, so handy for tours. We had 2 nights here, but wished we had another day or two here as there was a lot to see in the area.

I´m a local from Reykjavik but will write in English. I loved this little guesthouse. It gives you the true "farm" feeling of sleeping surrounded by grass and green hills will its still inside the beautiful town of Vik. We made friends who also stayed at the guesthouse and we played games outside in the grassfield in the evening. The private room was cute with nice beds and bed linens and the kitchen and bathroom area were clean and nice. I would come here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect—just outside of Vik, offering the peace and quiet of nature while still being close to everything. It was an ideal spot to watch the Northern Lights. The cabin itself was so cozy and warm with everything we needed, making us feel right at home.
