A really clean and comfortable room with a stunning view! Isuranga and his wife are also amazing hosts and were really kind and helpful at all times. Also the breakfast was really great and was served to the balcony of our room. The town is only 20min away by feet or max. 10min by a Tuc Tuc

Perfect location, great views, near railways, so you can see the trains passing by. In 7 minutes you can walk to Ella. The other way on the railway will bring you to the waterfall en Ella Rock. When you just passed the trainbridge, go down, and ask the women for guiding you to a beautiful viewpoint. On your own its difficult to find. Breakfast is good. The caretaker Lashman is gentle and tells a lot of things to visit/to do. From were you will have breakfast, the view uphill is lovely, looks like a jungle. We parked our tuktuk just across the railway.

Lovely little hideaway. The owner kindly arranged for a tuk tuk to collect us from the train station.The cottage was so homely and well equipped with everything you might need. We loved the veranda where you could relax and enjoy the quiet view down to Ella. It was really cool to see the trains coming along the line as well ( there aren't that many trains!) The owners wife cooked us dinner and breakfast - both meals were traditional Sri Lankan and really delicious. This property is a real gem if you like an authentic and home from home experience.

From 06/04/24 to 06/08/2024 we rented a room in this house. This is just a wonderful family, very kind and good. And the view there is simply amazing, from our room there was a view of the mountains and a waterfall, monkeys came to us every day. Our price included breakfast and it was very tasty. We were very happy to stay with this wonderful family. If we visit Sri Lanka again, we will immediately go to Ella to visit this wonderful family.

The family who runs this guesthouse is lovely. Not only do they have a spacious and comfortable room but they also make sure you are comfortable all the time. They offered me tea several times , asked if everything was good, arranged a tuk tuk tour for me one day and I was very happy to enjoy life with them at their house too. The view of the room is definitly amazing. And the breakfast they provide is delicious!

Our host was exceptional, he could not have done more for us. We were too tired to go down to the town for dinner, so he took one of our party down in his tuk tuk and showed him the best restaurants for takeaways. Then he went to his own house next door and brought us plates and cutlery. In the morning he ferried us down to the train. The view from our balconies and the deck area were breathtaking, the beds really comfortable, the rooms spotless, and there are lots of thoughtful touches like plug adapters and lovely soap. We'll definitely stay there again.

Wifi works perfectly for video calls and screen sharing. The view is one of the best ones i had since i arrived in sri lanka 3 weeks ago. The rooms and shared spaces are extremely clean! Never seen such a level of cleanliness in Sr Lanka. Bed was comfy, not many mosquitoes. 10-15min walk from the noisy Ella - so quiet and peaceful. Walk on the train tracks for a shortcut :) I would come back anytime!

    The beds were comfortable, the hosts were sweet and helpful, the bathroom and shower were clean, there was a kettle to boil water and a fire to make food as well as a fridge, there was a common area in the kitchen and one by the dorms, really close to the train tracks (so easy to walk around, both into the city and out along the tracks) and easy to find when we first got here.
