The property is located in a great spot- it is incredibly comfortable and the host Annalisa really is fantastic; she gave us the best advice on local food spots, getting taxis and even hiring a car! I definitely would recommend staying at La Maison soleil as it is a gem on the east coast of Mauritius!

it's a fantastic base to explore the island. The host is warm and friendly, with lots of useful knowledge about the area. In short, it's a home from home - if your home is spotless, beautifully decorated, within short distance to beautiful beach. Would heartily recommend.

Villa Bella is located in a very calm neigbourhood, and has all the accomodations one needs. Every amenity in the kitchen, fruit as a welcome gift, a washing machine with powder ready, a TV, etc.. The house is extremely clean, and all the rooms very spacious. The beds were made with clean sheets, no bugs anywhere, everything was perfect. We were very lucky to be the only hosts there, and had the entire property and swimming pool to ourselves. The people (Marco, Angelique the owner, even the neighbours) were all extraodinary in helping us adjust to Mauritius and the life there. We could always count on somebody to help us out, whether it was Angelique via the chat on booking, or Marco who lives not far at all from the property. The beach is only 5min away by car, and is gorgeous. It's the perfect place for people who like a calm environment but not far from shops, beaches etc. You need a car but that is to be expected in Mauritius. PS: the wifi is extremely good at the Villa, better than in a lot of hotels where I stayed.

Pleasant village, walking distance to beach and buses if you want to explore the coast a little more. Shops in walking distance. friendly hosts and a beautiful private pool. We would come again. Thank you Gaetan and Marie-Claire, you were very helpful and kind :)

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Light Villa, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel like we were right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and were always available to offer helpful recommendations. The villa itself is a gem—beautifully designed and maintained, with stunning views. The location was perfect; it was peaceful and serene, yet still close to everything. The comfort level was top-notch, with cozy rooms, plush furnishings, and every little detail thoughtfully considered. As for the food, it was just delicious! Each meal felt like a special treat, full of flavor and made with care. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every dish was perfectly prepared and fresh. Overall, The Light Villa exceeded all expectations. The combination of incredible hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and impeccable comfort made for an unforgettable stay. I can’t wait to come back!

    It is a private house on the second floor of the owner's house, and although it is old, it is clean and has a well-equipped kitchen. You must use the public parking lot across the street. There is a boat trip office to Ile aux cerfs around. The water pressure is a bit low.

    Excellent spacious flat with fabulous belconies (2) and view was good. Warm reception from Veronique, who assisted us with the luggage. Towels were changed daily. Very well eqiupt kitchen and bathroom with excellent shower and hot water. Close to the main road and restaurant. Car park across the road was convenient and safe.

    The staff was very lovely and accommodating, the location is great as it’s close to the store and the marina if you are going on a boat trip. And the parking is easy. The rooms are huge and there is a kitchen for cooking if you are interested.

    I can highly recommend this property. The check-in process was seamless and the property has a gorgeous view. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the stay here in the East and got to explore the local beaches and eateries. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

    We loved the location, the direct view on the ocean, the sound of waves all day and the opportunity to see the sun rise. The appartment itself was tastefully decorated and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay from the basket of fresh fruits, the water bottles, the loaf of bread, instant and ground coffee to some essential ingredients such as oil, vinegar, salt, sugar in the fully equipped kitchen, we did not miss anything! The owner was very responsive and Adeline, the maid was very nice and helpful.
