Whole apartment that comfortably sleeps four, beautifully furnished by Laurie, the host. The decor is full of history, and had us peering at every little piece. Beds in both areas are large and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, and covered us for breakfast. Washing machine was nice to have.

Immaculately presented and clean this apartment was one of the nicest places we stayed in throughout our vacation. The added treats of ground coffee and chocolates just added to a really peaceful and cosy stay. Only minutes from the town centre gave us a perfect stay. The host were always available and easy to communicate with.

    A delightful stay. Very well equipped kitchen. Large, bright and well decorated cottage. A large veranda to sit on to enjoy a beautiful private garden. We have stayed in many places in Australia and NZ over the last few weeks and this was one of the best places we have stayed.

    The cottages are in a beautiful garden setting. They are very well maintained, clean and you have absolutely everything you need in the kitchen if you want a home cooked meal. It's lovely that you get a breakfast starter from the owners with bread, milk, eggs and some butter, Marmite and jam. You can also catch up on your washing with a free guest laundry. It is peaceful and private and I would recommend it to anyone.

    The cottage was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Fresh bread, milk and eggs were provided, which was a very nice touch. We always prefer self-catering accommodation for our travels in the UK and all over the world, and I would say that this is one of the best we have ever stayed in. A pity we couldn't stay longer, but our trip to NZ was a bit of a whistle-stop tour after coming over for a family wedding!

    It was like home away from home. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, all the wine glasses you needed. Easy drive to Napier, Hastings and Havelock North, not ti mention the many vineyards close by. Just amazing.
