I was travelling to New Zealand with my sister to see our brother and flying down to the South Island from Wellington. Anam Cara is about 45 minutes drive, so we decided to stay somewhere peaceful, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Everything about the place is top quality, and it's set in remarkably well maintained grounds. Don't hesitate to book.

I would have given it a 11 if possible. Super comfy and clean tiny house with simply everything you need. Lots of love put into it, indeed. Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Spotlessly clean as well and Sarah was a great host. Tiger Lily was a bonus ;)

    Idyllic Country Garden was very well located for lovely Waikanae Beach and Queen Elizabeth Park and the delightful Kapiti Coast. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the outside terrace and barbecue were good and there was a very well equipped kitchen for all our self catering needs. The inside seating area was comfortable as well.
