Everything was great. The parking place close to the hotel was always accessable with a fair pricing system. The restaurants and coffee shops close to the hotel were nice. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

This was our third 10-day stay at "Das Essigmanngut". We were accommodated in a spacious suite room. The three beds were very comfortable. Shower/bathroom was clean and functional. The kitchenette functional and clean. The daily highlight once again was the marvellous breakfast. It features a very large selection of dishes, freshly prepared at high quality. Delicious coffee options. Very kind and helpful service staff at breakfast. Also the staff at the reception, including the manager/owner were very pleasant, flexible and most helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit to Salzburg and will most certainly stay here again.

Friendly staff, quiet, safe location, plenty of parking, tasty breakfast, 2 big gardens very well maintained. It doesn;t serve dinner, but there are restaurants 10 min walk away from the hotel. The hotel is only 10km (20min) away from central Salzburg by car. The bus station is around the corner. The Eagle's Nest and the Rossfeld Panorama Strasse (Panoramic highway) are only 20 min away by car. The cable car is 5 min drive or 20 min walk away from the hotel. You can hike to the same location (Untersberg) (1300m ascent) from parking situated 5 min drive away - get there early as it gets filled up pretty quickly. You can rent bikes from the hotel and take advantage of the multiple trails that go to the city or neighbouring villages or towns.

Our room was suitable for a long term stay and it had a mini fridge. Our hostess endearing and really made us feel welcome. The supper in their restaurant was truly outstanding, and they had an English menu for us. They are known far and wide for their 5 weeks of serving venison and deer during the season. We were served breakfast and it too exceeded our expectations. It was very close to the falls.
