Great hotel - full of Swiss alpine character! The Hotel Baron is the heart and soul of this little township. Fabulous warm-hearted, friendly, smiley proprietors & staff. Absolutely loved our newly renovated room and their buffet breakfasts (included in the price). Their highly experienced chef also accommodated our food allergies during our stay. Great choice of meals to suit all budgets. Great access point to explore nature at it’s best or nearby popular tourist areas. Will definitely come again! Ten stars!

Renovated room, everything was clean. Big window on roof. Shared bathroom was very clean too. Good location to go to Gletscherschlucht laui and Aareschlacht. Dinner was good. Very unique elevator.

Very cozy typical local real mountain town and so was the Hotel. Traditional and Perfect, true to the roots. Breakfast was excellent

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery.

Very friendly owner and staff. I like this modern rustic style. Very good breakfast. Nice restaurant! Room's humidity and temperature was perfect, very good for sleeping. One of my favourite hotel in this area.

1 km away from the centre of Engelberg which offers access to the Titlis Ski Area, guests can find Alpenresort Eienwäldli Engelberg in quiet surroundings.
