Really comfortable and peaceful stay. Stunning views and walks on doorstep. Excellent transport links. The villa is an exclusive area - just out the tourist-filled Lucerne but close enough to get to places and do everything you want to (20 mins on the 21 bus). Francesco and Sylvia were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the terrace. Thank you so much

This was supposed to be our second stay at Hotel Alpina Luzern. This time we haven't really stayed at Hotel Alpina, but we were upgraded to "sister" 4-star Hotel Monopol for free, which was excellent.

Situated in Eigenthal and within 8.7 km of Lucerne Station, Hotel Gasthaus Hergiswald has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.

Mountain location; quietness except for the lovely cow bells; well-appointed apartment; easy access to the apartment from the car (parked right out front); no stairs to climb; 20 minute drive to Lucerne; lovely clean apartment with a great kitchen. Most importantly, the host Claudia was delightful and friendly.

Beautiful authentic castle rooms offer you fantastic views of the lake and the Inner Swiss mountains. All Junior Suites have a private indoor pool.

We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred. Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!
