The facilities are great, comfortable beds, lovely breakfast, very friendly staff. We had a front facing room with a balcony for the first 3 days which was wonderful. We decided to stay an extra three nights and the reception staff managed to give us a side facing room which also had a balcony! We were thrilled....would definitely stay again. Would highly recommend it.

Trust the title as the view is indeed breathtaking! The apartment is located right in front Straumbachfall, Lauterbrunnen’s most famous waterfall. There is literally nothing between the balcony and the waterfall! It is close to all the restaurants, supermarket and a lovely 10 minutes walk from the train station. The apartment is charming, very comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen has all the necessary supplies and is very modern. The beds are all we need to relax after a busy day discovering the region. The communication with the owner was impeccable . We received all the necessary information for checking in, getting the key, and checking out. During our stay, he supported us on additional requests and was open to give us more information about the region and what to do around. We were also able to leave our luggage at the place before check in and after check out, and that allowed us to enjoy the region until the last minute of the trip.

The location is perfect, it feels like it's at the end of the main street. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The breakfast has many types of local cheeses. I arrived at 8pm but I had the key ready with a welcome message and instructions. I liked that the room had a painting of the old train station and the hallway had 19th century furniture! And old pictures of Wengen in the hallways. Snacks and drinks in the lobby. I liked that I received a mini Gipfelwiiss in the room, which is a chocolate bar in the shape of the 4 snow-capped peaks (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and Silberhorn) and is produced in Wengen at the Vincenz Bäckerei - Konditorei on the main street.

Room - It was the best room (room number 51) of our entire stay in Switzerland. Probably, they allotted the best room to us. It was large, clean and the view from the room/ balcony was surreal. Bathroom - Clean and with all facilities available. Breakfast - We had complementary breakfast during our saty and the buffet breakfast had wide range of breads, cheese, fruits available. They even make other items (like English Breakfast) on request. The foods tasted great as usual. Staff - Brilliant. Starting from the arrival (when they picked us up from the Wengen Station) till checkout, they were always available and happy to help whenever required.
