The location of the chalet is absolutely breathtaking & the views are out of this world. There is a hiking trail that starts right in front of the chalet. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils needed to cook a meal. We went as a family & I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to be close to nature. And the best part was the host Sebastian, very accommodating & always ready to help. Big thumbs up to this property.

We booked Die Bäckeralm for one night to travel the next day further to Croatia. The host was very friendly. At arrival he greeted us already knowing who we were. It is a small place with a few apartments, so he knows who's coming, but it's nice and you feel welcome. Nice beds, quiet surroundings and a nice breakfast makes the stay complete. We got good advice about the surroundings and where we could get a bite to eat. Nice restaurants nearby with quality food and very good prices. In short: perfect stay.

Beautiful interior, decor in good taste and elegant finish. A very peaceful neighbourhood that is conducive to relaxation. Despite being a attic, a very spacious and fully functional flat has been arranged there. Extremely comfortable beds!! There is also a balcony where you can enjoy pleasant summer evenings. There was also a garage outside at our disposal which accommodated one car (a VW Passat sedan fit just to the touch).

The impression of calm you get when you first drive off the road, of the space around the hotel, and the views. Although we were there to ride the Deutsche Alpen Strasse we did a couple of local walks too. Incredible views all to the tune of the cow bells. Wann hören die Kühe auf zu läuten?
