Everything is was really good. Nice, spacious and functional. 2 floors, bedroom, huge bathroom with a bathtub and shower, and living room with kitchen. There were all needed there to cook, coffee machine (capsules and filter), boiler, toaster, microwave, dishwasher… heating works fast and efficiently. We parked inside, with enough space to park and move in/out. Oliver is really nice and friendly! Perfect place!

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Most spoke good English which helped us poor German speakers. Our room was spotlessly clean and full of character. It had a great view of the castle and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was really good quality, it was served to the table in a classically decorated dining room. i.e. not a buffet. The hotel is only a short walk into town an ideal location for walking in the countryside. Overall an exceptional hotel in our view.

Perfect location on the main square of this delightful town. Room and bath were first rate and spacious and clean. Restaurant was fabulous and had a variety dishes including some exotic ones. Staff were very kind and helpful, I would come back!

The house was brand new and very comfortable. The price was amazing compared with other options in the same town. The main bath room had a hydromassage bath tub, which was a plus. Both bathrooms had really good showers.

The Pension Schlossidyll is located at the end of a residential street in one of the most exclusive residential areas of Wernigerode.
