The rooms are new and lovely decorated. We arrived late and had booked a diner in the restaurant. The chef was still waiting for us. And what a great chef he is. The diner was super, we really enjoyed, amazing quality and delicious. Nice wines to pair our dishes, wonderful experience. We look forward coming back!

A gorgeous little village only 5 minutes away from a town that has everything you need..cafes shopping etc. and only 2 .5 hours from Barcelona. Anna our hostess is charming and took great care to see we had all we needed. Our room was a great size and the bed was comfy. The view over to the mountains was stunning. Anna took great care of us and we would recommend Cal Mateu to anyone ...we loved it!!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful old mansion. The rooms were fantastic, we were upgraded and the staff is extraordinary. The grounds are gorgeous and the surroundings beautiful.
