I loved the facilities and how helpful and friendly the staff was, both at reception and breakfast. The bathroom is amazing.

We had an amazing time at La Tanière! The apartment is not only beautiful and comfortable but also incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The WiFi was fast, and it even had a dishwasher and a washing machine—features we already knew about beforehand. What truly stood out, however, were the thoughtful extras—the little things you might not initially think of but that make life so much easier when they’re there. From dishwasher tabs, detergent, and dish towels to a power strip, kettle, coffee machine, spices, a cutting board, and high-quality knives, the kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The apartment was fantastic, and the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying here!

Comfortable and homely near bus routes

The location was within walking distance of the center, a few minutes walk to the bus to get on the Gondola, pizza place at the end of the street if you didn't want to go out. We never used the pool or facilities due to skiing. The views were stunning.

The perfect home from home. So brilliantly located - we spent wonderful late afternoons/early evenings having drinks in the square with the kids running about making new friends. Could walk to everything from the house if needed. It’s really well equipped with everything you could need for cooking/washing/living. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The owner Anne is absolutely lovely and went out of her way to help us after we had an issue with our car which meant our travel plans had to completely change. She’s brilliant. A total hero! We were two families with three kids in total and the house worked so well for us all. Great socialising space and lots of bathrooms so no rush in the mornings! We came for some spring skiing and for the kids to start their skiing adventure (would highly recommend ZigZag ski school.. definitely the best option in Samoens) and it couldn’t have been more perfect. I adored visiting the Wednesday morning market and cooking up a feast in the great kitchen with all the goodies I bought. There is also a really lovely vegetable shop in the square with some other basics and a few small supermarkets within very easy walking distance. I read one review that said it was tricky to get from the house to ski school on time without a car. We found it very easy. Simply catch the 08:29 blue bus from outside the cinema (5 mins walk to the bus stop) and get off at the GME lift. We left our skis and boots at Xtreme Glisse by the GME lift each day where they have heated boots storage. So that you don’t have to carry them to and fro. This worked really well for us and still allowed plenty of time to get to 1600m for 09:15 for the start of ski school, even whilst wrangling 2 toddlers and a 9yr old into their kit! We hope to be back to stay here again and again.

Dear reader and potential booker! This apartment in Samoëns is fantastic!! Like most other people here, we give a 10! Great little apartment just beside the pedestrian centre of Samoëns with parking, bedding, towels and all other necessary equipment included/available. Bravo!! Communication with owner was simple and efficient. We loved the lovely "small" Savoyarde details (tablecloth, wooden chairs) and the availibility of Fondue/Raclette devices as most of the restaurants in the village were closed for "Fermature annuel". Value for money is exceptional and is not like the typical tiny chalet room you get in the Alps! Merci beaucoup et on n'hesite pas à revenir dans le coin ou recommander cet appartement. 😀

Beautiful mountain hotel with very kind and available staff. Elodie is amazing. Perfect position to visit the area. Large and comfortable rooms tasty breakfast with a good selection. A very good restaurant to taste the specialities from Hautes Savoy. Highly reccomended.
