Nice hostel, had it all for myself which was a bit eerie but no surprise that time of the year. Bedrooms were okay, bit squeeky but else. Community room was nice and spacious, very big kitchen. The location is also nice, a lovely village with all you need. Visit the Whisky castle if you like whisky

Really nice house, well furnished with great facilities for cooking/washing/relaxing etc. The perfect place for a stay whether an international visitor (like us) or people looking for a stay within the UK. Very comfy bedding and an abundance of space in all the rooms, would wholeheartedly reccomend.

the last time I stayed there was in 1951, 2 weeks before I left to live in Australia. I was a 16 year old. Amazingly, on this occasion I was given the same room! So lots of fond memories.

Lovely atmosphere, really friendly welcome and lots of tips for our onward journey. Email received in advance with restaurant tips which we used to book Andersons seafood platter and had a great evening. Tea coffee and fridge and delicious banana cake on arrival! Breakfast great, lots of lovely fresh fruit, cooked breakfast etc.
