A very nice, cosy and well equipped house. The host was friendly and helpful to us when we were stranded in Seydisfjordur during a hurricane.

Quiet area, great location, beautiful views. All accessories for cooking. Hot tube in the terrace. Pleasant host family, we communicated several times before arriving.

Amazing location. Hilmir was an amazing host. We had some questions and he came within minutes to help us. Property's location is amazing and the drive to the property is even better. We enjoyed the sauna as well. We were travelling in a group of 7 including kids and each one of us wanted to stay for longer.

Beautifully located place with lots of character and incredible mountain views. Really friendly check in and were flexible with a last minute room change which was much appreciated.

The upgraded us as there weren't many tourists during the off season. We were even warned that there a no open restaurants beforehand so we could prepare. Our Keycode allowed us to enter a seperate vuilding with a small little honesty bar and snacks. All in all a lovely old hotel with really nice rooms and extremely pleasent hosts - would love to come back during the summer.

This Seydisfjordur Guesthouse is situated in the eastern fjords of Iceland, 25 minutes’ drive from Egilsstadir Airport. It offers free WiFi and a garden.

The guesthouse was well-equipped. It had a coffee machine, all the kitchen ware, dishwasher, washing machine, games and very big common area which was very convenient. The owner was very helpful, too. The room and linen were really spotless clean. 10/10 recommended.

The staff was super friendly, I only stayed for one night but I totally felt like home, it was super clean, cosy but spacious and breakfast was good and served until pass 11 wish is rare and appreciated haha
