Great hotel! If you have the chance, go for the half-board option — the restaurant serves amazing food, just like in a fine dining place. We loved everything: the newly renovated rooms, the overall atmosphere, and the quality of service. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

From the moment we arrived, the owner Cristina was so welcoming and helpful. Her husband Moreno was also very friendly every morning at breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start before a day of hiking. The property is in the small town of Santa Fosca which was a great base for us to drive to the starting point of lots of hikes. There are some restaurants within walking distance and plenty of parking at/near the property. We would highly recommend Garni al Barance to anyone and hope to return ourselves some day!

Very nice apartment—completely new and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated that the apartment has two bathrooms, which is super convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed it—thank you! There’s also a terrace (more like a balcony) that stretches from one bedroom to the other. It’s not very big, but it’s great that it’s there, and the view of the lake from it is really beautiful.

The accommodation was absolutely exceptional. The apartment is new, modern and very well equipped. We also had two bathrooms, electric blinds in the bedrooms, a wonderful view of the lake. Sauna available on the ground floor of the house. Adriana accommodated us, she was pleasant, helpful and communicative. She showed and explained everything with a smile. A beautiful town and near the cable car to the top of the mountains. We were very satisfied.

The place is SO cute. The restaurant is amazing. The breakfast is very rich. The staff is so welcoming. One of the best place we've stayed at in the Dolomites.

Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We stayed at the end of the summer season after 6 days of Trekking on the AV1. Pecol/Hotel Edelweiss is an great exit strategy from AV1. The entire town was quiet. Edelweiss welcomed us in. The family that runs the hotel is incredibly kind and accommodating. We left early due to bus schedule back toward Venice. They accommodated our early departure by moving up breakfast. Their croissants were the best we've ever had. Great coffee/espresso. Couldn't ask for more. Stay here!
