Everything. Martina and Nicolo were amazing. They made breakfast and made us coffee... and the location is spot on in the old part of the city. The house is 600 years old and steeped in history. You will also notice the towels are anagrammed with the family crest.

Our host went over and above the call of duty when our train into Tirano was delayed by more than 4 hours and eventually got in around 2am. She waited for us and did her best to make sure we were comfortable which was hugely appreciated. The apartment itself is lovely and perfectly located for access to the train station, a cafe and supermarket.

Lovely, very spacious and well fitted out apartment. The owners added some special touches and had ready for us juices, teas, coffee and milk. Their personal hospitality was excellent and would definitely choose to stay there again if in the area. A great base for taking the Bernina Express over to St Moritz.

Bruno was waiting for us at his Merizzi restaurant when we arrived. He showed us the two units that we booked and we were astound by the scenery from the balcony and windows. It is unfortunate that I only chose to stay one night. We could have stayed a couple of nights more. We had dinner at his restaurant located at the ground floor of the apartment. The food served was awesome and we were very happy that our last meal in Italy on this trip is at Merizzi. One of the unit does not have air-conditioning but stand fans were provided for air circulation. During our visit, the weather is cool with slight rainfall, so this wasn't an issue for us.
