It's an amazing hotel sited on top of a hill overlooking on one side Lake Toya and on the, a bay being part of Sea of Japan and one has a 360° view of the entire valley lake and mountains including of Mt Yotei in the distance. Its also a beautiful n lavishly appointed hotel and one of its many claims to fame is being the site of a G8 Summit hotel in 2008. It has many lovely restaurants, a great onsen plus a nice golf course to boot. Locals regard this hotel as Hokkaido's most prestigious hotel, and one can fully understand once you stay there. The staff are so professional and courteous fm the doorman to everyone you come into contact as they all seem so conscious they have a very high reputation to maintain as The Top hotel in the region. It had more than it explains - towels are daily changed, also many amenities! And most important - the room is big enough to open luggage, hang the ski clothes but yet relax. Another room for cooking / eating in a big room (shared) They also accept the luggage delivery in advance When I spoke to the owner, who is every morning there to organise the transport and cleaning, and when someone checks in. If you are traveling with bus, try to book all in advance!

We are a family of 4, carrying two teenagers. The apartment is just in walking distance to Rusutsu resort and equipped everything you need for daily life. Staying here is just like staying at home, very comfortable, and relaxing. Also, there is a staff carrying us to and back from ski resort. This is our first time choosing an apartment rather than 2 separate hotel rooms, and we will definitely choose it again if we are back in Rusutsu again. Great accommodation for a family or group of friends.
