Lovely little hotel type place. The two elderly who run it were both really friendly and helpful for any questions I had. Room was a really good size for the price and the communial area had lots to offer - massage chair, manga, tv, heating etc. And it's pet friendly!

It was my first time in Kusatsu and I am really happy that I chose the Buna Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I love its modern side while still keeping a very traditional Japanese atmosphere. Spacious house with a great bath. Very comfortable. Unluckily we just stayed one night. We were a family of four people and we slept all so well. Many amenities in the bathroom.
