Located at 1,640 metres above sea level in Katschberghöhe, 500 metres from the Gamskogel Express Cable Car, Das Alpenhaus Katschberg 1640 inkl Lungau Card offers ski-to-door access and a 600 m² spa... Our room was very big, with a lot of space and beautiful view. The kitchen had everything. Ski slopes are very near hotel, you do not have to carry skiis, you just have to go outside and you are on the slope. This hotel is very good for the family.

Just a 5-minute walk both from Heiligenblut’s centre and ski area, the family-run Hotel Kaiservilla features a spa area with a Finnish sauna and a steam bath, and a ski storage room with a ski boot... Beautiful village tucked between the mountains and perfect accommodation to spend the time there. Really friendly staff, beautiful view from the rooms balcony and tasty breakfast. The downside for us is only staying for one night.

Family-run for over 300 years, Gasthof Post in Rennweg is just off the A10 motorway and a 5-minute drive from the Katschberg Ski Area. It offers a sauna, steam bath, and free Wi-Fi. We enjoyed our stay at Gasthof Post very much. Traditional Austrian decor with the hints of modern was exactly what we wanted. Super clean, comfortable bads and specious rooms. Great Austrian hospitality.
