The area is popular for skiing, mountainbiking, climbing and hiking. The Ehrwalder Alm Cable Car is 5 km from Mellow Mountain Hostel and the climbing gym is 0.5 km away. Beautiful view, great breakfast of fresh, local produce, nice staff, and generally very clean and comfortable. Lots of activities at the hostel (boardgames, for example), nice and close to hiking trails, and overall a great place.

Great family run hotel in the Bavarian Alps. Great breakfast and the host and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

The Hotel Zugspitze's spacious rooms feature a modern en suite bathroom, Alpine-style furnishings, comfortable beds and free high-speed internet access. The hotel’s location is fantastic – just a short walk to key attractions, shops, and public transport. It’s perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special. Limited variety and not very memorable compared to similar hotels. Still, I’d recommend this hotel for anyone prioritizing location over extras.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains.

Farchant is an ideal staring point for hiking and skiing, with several skilifts within 9 km. Zugspitze (mountain) is 15 kilometers away and Eibsee (lake) is 15 kilometers away. Fantastic place. The owner is so warm while we checked in. Will definitely recommend this place

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. It has panorama garden with a view of the Zugspitze mountain peak and is located just few minutes' walk from the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The staff were amazing super helpful and accommodating, I was traveling with 2 small kids and they were very helpful and patient

This traditional, family-run hotel offers rooms with mountain views and free Wi-Fi internet in the centre of Oberammergau. The main train station is less than 300 metres from the hotel.

Mornings at the Hotel Antonia start with a freshly prepared breakfast in the breakfast room. Location, coffee machine with many coffee pods, dishes and tea set, spacious room. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

Sightseeing tours are available within a reachable distance of the property. If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the apartment can arrange a ski equipment rental service. It was perfect! Clean, friendly staff, and beautiful location. Kitchen was equipped with everything. I would definitely visit again and also recommend further!
