Set in Seyðisfjörður, 3.7 km from Gufufoss, Dúlluhús - Apartments by Aldan has ski-to-door access, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. The property has mountain and lake views. The apartment features parking on-site, a fitness room and a housekeeping service. I loved everything about this cottage style house. Our apartment was on the ground floor. The living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms were reasonably spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and very cozy. Our friends stayed upstairs in another lovely apartment. Seyðisfjörður, is a lovely small town, in a valley, surrounded by beautiful mountains. The locals are all very friendly and we enjoyed lovely food in the nearby Aldan bar/restaurant. We stayed for the Sluice 2025 art event, but it would also make a great base for driving around and seeing all the other sights. If I am ever travelling in this region again, I would hope to stay in this cottage.

Quiet area, great location, beautiful views. All accessories for cooking. Hot tube in the terrace. Pleasant host family, we communicated several times before arriving.

Guests at Botnahlid Villa, Mountain and Town views and outdoor Sauna can enjoy skiing and hiking nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace. The villa was really nicely designed and had great views. The washing machine and dryer were a bonus after so many days on the road without any!
