The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect for my stay in Bled. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The breakfast selection was also delicious. I’d come back here any time, and highly recommend.

The local bus station is 600 metres from Penzion Kaps, while Bled Castle is at a distance of 2 km. Ljubljana Airport and the ski centres at Kranjska Gora, Vogel and Krvavec are all within a 35 km radius. The location was excellent. It is located in a quiet place, and it takes just 2-3 minutes to reach the lake. You can find restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was really spacious, clean, and with a nice balcony with a view of the surrounding area and the mountains. The owners were great and really helpful with everything.

Only 200 metres from the Sava River, Hiša Aleš is set in the centre of Breg ob Savi. Featuring free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with mountain views, it offers a restaurant serving Slovenian cuisine and international dishes. Very nice hotel in a good location on the way from Ljubljana to Bled. Staff were very friendly. Room was big and spacious. Breakfast was very good.

This was the first time we had experienced a hotel without staff. We were emailed a code for the box for the room to give us access to the key, took us a little time to cotton on to this. Once inside it was very nice, decorated with eco qualities in mind. Breakfast food was all sourced from local artisans and very tasty indeed. It is a custom in Slovenia to wear slippers indoors and so the hosts had left a shelf full of slippers for everybody to use indoors. The room was en-suite with the shower and toilet encased in glass, this was novel.
