The front desk was exceptionally helpful, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. The multilingual staff made communication effortless, which was a great relief. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of magazines and books available for reading. There were plenty of daily activity programs to enjoy, keeping things lively. The facilities were clean, and everything was managed in an orderly and professional manner.

Great hotel, everything is so nice and well though-through. Everything is brand new, it is modern but very cosy and traditional at the same time. I stayed in the suite which was a very big room. There are also 3 restaurants in the hotel, tried the Austrian and Japanese ones and they were very good. Breakfast is excellent, many options and good quality of food. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Extremely friendly staff and accommodating host. The owner, Thomas, was very hands on and constantly focussing on guest satisfaction and experience. Extremely impressive wine cellar / wine list with very reasonable prices and knowledgeable staff.

Everything was perfect during our trip. The food, especially for dinner was very good. The room was nice and clean. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Also the location is a plus as the hotel is right across from the chair lifts/ gondola and bus station.

The breakfast is good with a wide choice of warm (saussages, eggs, ham) and cold items (ham, cheese, marmelade, cerreals, fruit, etc.). The dinner is good -allways with a meat and fish choice. Fish is fresh - as Valmar has a direct supply line from Croatia. The rooms are spatious, clean and well eqipped. The apres ski bar is well eqipped with very friendly staff. Parking slots are available in the garage , but do not forget to book a parking slot for your car in advance!

Hotel Tauernglöckl offers a quiet location in the centre of Obertauern, right next to the ski slope and very close to the ski lifts and cross-country ski runs.
