Everything, the spa was not crowded and plenty of space. The bed is ultra confortable. The staff is incredible. Bikes are free. They also gave us some swimsuit as we forgot ours. We could as well borrow a backpack for free. Charging the car is free at night. What else?

Fantastic experience staying at this quaint little hotel! When we arrived, the hotel was really kind to provide a pick up from the grindelwald train station. We were served a welcome drink and bags were brought up immediately to our room. The room was wonderful comfortable with a fantastic view of the Eiger. The hotel is also very conveniently located at a short 3 min walk from the First gondola. Breakfast was also superb with fresh bread rolls, a fine selection of cured meats, yogurts, cheeses and fruits. In all my hotel stays worldwide, this hotel certainly serve up the BEST BREAKFAST. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we definitely hope to be back one day.

Everything! The location was so near the activities, so near restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful in giving tips and were very friendly. The rooms spacious and clean and best of all the view of Mount Eiger!! The hotel has a spacious breakfast hall and good choices of food. Will stay here again.

The room was big, no problem with suitcases. The bathroom was also very nice and big. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of choices. The location is great near the railway station (5 min.) and the FIRST station (cablecar, 5.min.).

We stayed at the hotel for a week and couldn't understand why its rating on Booking.com is only 8.4. The hotel met or exceeded our expectations on all fronts: Location 10 Room 10 Facilities 10 Bar area 10 (nice and cozy) Reception staff 10 (I noticed several negative reviews in Booking.com, not justified in my view) Food 10: the hamburger was the best I have ever tasted (seriously. and I am a hamburger person), and the fillet mignon was fantastic Breakfast: excellent choice, great omelettes Spa 10 (Massage therapist (Marta) 10, amazing massage) Staff 10 With amazing views to the Eiger from our room it was a wonderful overall experience. We have stayed at several hotels in Grindelwald in the past. This is the first one we want to come back to, and expect to do so twice a year.
