The staff and owners went above and beyond our expectations. They were very helpful with all of our needs and questions. They met us at the top of the cable car late at night to pick us and our many bags up without even telling us - what a nice way to begin our stay. The breakfasts were great with a variety of options and I especially loved the self serve smoothie bar! Loved the hotel amenities including the fun pool and relaxing saunas. Special thanks to Suzanna and Carla for their exceptional hospitality and kind hearts. We hope to be back to this gem again soon!

We stayed in a not very large room but the fantastic view from the balcony of the Jungfrau broadened our perspective so we felt great. The room hadn't been renovated for some time but was spotlessly clean with lovely fresh linen on a comfortable bed. Great location in Wengen, right next to the train station so access to all the places worth visiting in the region was very easy. Friendly staff and among them the most friendly, helpful and always smiling Michalina from the reception. Despite the proximity of the train station in the evenings and at night there was absolute silence so we could rest well.

Hotel Silberhorn - Residences & Spa Wengen is located in the centre of the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, right next to the Station. It offers a spa area and fine cuisine.

Stylish and well considered contemporary design in a well appointed hotel. The staff are young but knowledgeable (one of the owners is a sommelier and regaled us with fabulous local Swiss wines) The food is just superb- breakfasts had a good variety of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, Swiss yoghurts and bircher, breads and croissants etc or cooked to order. Dinner was superb- we tried the 3 course tasting menu which was sublime. If we could have afforded it we would have eaten there every night! Location was ideal just out of the main village of Grindelwald, so quieter, yet only a five minute stroll into the centre- plus the buses stop right outside. The best views of the glacier and the Eiger and Wetterhorn opposite!- absolutely stunning views!! We loved it very much!

We stayed in the Japanese room and it was absolutely perfect. Nice view, sauna on the terrace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service is excellent and we felt pampered for the entirety of our stay. They delivered breakfast to our room every morning, snacks and sodas/beer were always available in the room (with the possibility of refills), a bottle of white wine and red wine free of charge in the room and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cheese/meat platter. Highly recommended for couples who want to spend a relaxing and romantic weekend in the mountains.
