Lovely staff, lovely room, lovely design! All of this in a beautiful heritage building and only a few minutes walk from the City Center. And the Spa treatment was a dream! Golden hands! We also loved the hidden Pantry, were you could get complimentary snacks and - brace yourselves! - icecream!

The hotel and grounds are very impressive. The website does not do it justice. The building itself is beautifully appointed and the decor is lovely. The rooms are very comfortable and the food was great.

The room was spacious and well-decorated. We has all the amenities we needed (robes, slippers, working TV, hair dryer, etc.). The hotel has plenty of activities, so take advantage! We did archery, horseback riding, went to the spa, at at the on-site restaurant, and played tennis (with rackets and balls they provided). It felt like such a genuine country-side experience and was simultaneously relaxing and activity-filled. Staff was wonderful and kind. We would absolutely return.
