Super clean and comfortable room. Staff went above and beyond accommodating our needs and were extremely nice and helpful while doing so. We appreciated the availability of free water dispensers, which provide fresh, cold water and help reduce plastic bottle usage. Highly recommended!

The superb staff and services are beyond words. Abdul welcomed us on our arrival with a big smile, offered us refreshing drinks on a warm afternoon, clearly explained the housekeeping rules, and very kindly carried our heavy bags upstairs. Stefanie, the owner of the guesthouse, then offered us some local snacks before we went on our hunt for dinner. We couldn't thank Rei, our driver, enough for taking care of us throughout our stay. He took into account my parents' age, capability and safety when recommending the Gili tours for us - instead of the most expensive 5 Gili tour, which he explained would be too physically demanding for them, he suggested the 3 Gili tour, which we all enjoyed very much. He speaks good English and is very funny. He also considerately played some Chinese music in the car for my non-English-speaking parents when driving us around. When I was out of cash, he lent me some without asking for a receipt. The sweetest thing was that he invited us to a family birthday party, where we enjoyed a yummy local hotpot meal and a wonderful night. We really appreciate the love they gave us!🧡 The house itself is such a lovely compound with beautiful plants in the yard and cute English decorations Stefanie put everywhere. Our family room was spacious, bright and clean, with air-conditioning and a big bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, and the bespoke towels were a personal touch of the owner. We also had a huge balcony with a relaxing overview of the yard. They put up several WiFi extenders around the house to ensure excellent WiFi signals everywhere. As many other guests have commented, the guesthouse offers unlimited free water, milk and tropical juices in the fridge in the dining room, and the continental breakfast (help-yourself toasties, 2 eggs, pancake/cakes and fruits) was simple but balanced and delicious. White Rose was of incredible value for money and was our favourite accommodation in Indonesia.

The property is like an oasis, beautifully decorated and the perfect place to relax. Staff were wonderful as was breakfast. Plenty of fab restaurants nearby - shout out to 'Flow' across the road - and a quick Gojek bike ride into town.
