Hosted by Sum and his beautiful kind family, I was only staying for one day and extended for three because Tetebatu is so beautiful. The homestay is super clean with a modern bathroom, bed is cosy and balcony terrace has a stunning view. There is no air conditioning but the room is in the middle of the rice fields so at night it’s cool and you don’t need it anyway. Sum and his family also offer private tours so you can check in and not have to worry about anything.

With lake views, Lombok Grace Bungalows is set in Tetebatu and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace.

The rooms are brand new and exceptionally clean. Located in the middle of a rice field, a short drive to Tetebatu and nearby waterfalls. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, we were able to rent a scooter, get some laundry done and sort a car to Sembalun through the staff. Great view of Rinjani on a clear day, good breakfast and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We really enjoyed our bamboo bungalow during our stay here. The morning views and sunrise were absolutely breathtaking and we saw it every morning. We also felt at home from the minute we arrived. The people there are super friendly and listen to all your questions and needs. You can do many activities in the area with aranka or rent bikes or scooters and ride around on your own. We appreciated the daily fruits, snacks and teas which are provided a lot and are thankful that we got to know new dishes and specialities. We also got a little chess lesson from Gilang and Azmi, who were also super friendly and chilled. The next tournament is still to come ;-) We were able to have super open conversations with all of them and learn a lot about the culture and life on Lombok. Also they try to connect themselves and other guests with each other with hosting a fire and playing the guitar for example. We would come back every time!

The two bungalows were very nicely made, clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly, we could even leave our bicycles there while we hiked the Rinjani. We had a wonderfull stay and would totally recommend it to everyone who is passing through Selong. There is also the possibility to organize hikes and other activities through the owner.

Great stay in Sembalun! The room was clean and comfortable, with amazing mountain views especially during sunrise. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to rest before hiking Rinjani. Highly recommended!
