Customer Service was excellent from the point of booking. The manager made contact and made us aware of services the hotel offers. He even met us at the station at 3am when our train was delayed! The hotel is modern, new and very clean. Room was large and well decorated with a large bathroom and good hot water shower. Bed was comfy. Location is great, less than 5 minutes walk to the main gate of the old city. Also has a nice rooftop restaurant. The hotel arranged our camel safari which was excellent. From start to finish we couldn’t fault anything and stayed here twice during our trip. The staff take a pride in the hotel and delivering superb service to guests. As far as I could see, Hotel Shahiraj Jaisalmer is the best choice for a hotel in Jaisalmer.

I liked the delicious food freshly cooked. One can ask for spicy or non-spicy one. The size of the room is really good with a big and very comfy bed. The place is ideal to rest and the staff is attentive and kind. I've had a great stay in Jaisalmer thanks to Manolo who helped me providing me all the required information and did his best to make me feel at home.

We had a great time at 1st gate. We were welcomed with snacks and drinks. The staff was very helpful and always smiling. Whenever we stepped out for an activity; the staff would hand over a bag full of fruits and water. The fort is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was spacious and comforting after all day of sightseeing hustle. We also enjoyed the interesting fusion of Italian and Indian flavors at the rooftop restaurant.

The majestic Suryagarh is situated in Jaisalmer. Architecturally pure and true to an ancient craft, the luxurious hotel features beautiful courtyards and grand Rajasthani architecture.
