A cozy place in white town which should be a must stay for anyone coming to Pondicherry. It is within walking distance of everything in white town, beach is a 2 mins walk with terrace giving sea view. We stayed for four nights and everything about the property was amazing from the room, the verandah in front of the room to the outdoor seating in Mira restaurant.

The staff are very attentive and proactively reached out throughout our stay to ask if we needed anything. If we requested things like more water, reservations, etc., the staff was very prompt and helpful. The spa facilities and pool are relaxing and affordable, the breakfast and restaurants are tasty with lots of variety. There was a live concert in the bar on Saturday night and the music was great. The game room was also fun, we played pool and golf and had a very nice time.

Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach.

The location is good. Spotless clean room. I was traveling with my one year old and I had requested the hotel to thoroughly clean the room prior to arrival. The public was spic and span. The hotel is very well maintained. The chef had made excellent baby food for my son. The staff is very helpful and highly professional. I do not remember names but all of them were so cordial and warm.

Breakfast was good. Pleasent t stay! Staff was so good. Even had great complimentary meals for infant and infant milk. So impressed.

Absolutely love the rooms with private pool. Perfect weekend getaway. The restaurant was also brilliant this time. Enjoyed the vegan menu.

Very friendly staff and near all the sites and beaches of Pondicherry, the boss is very nice and he and my dad got on very well about the history of the place and that’s what my dad enjoyed most about the stay, someone who has time for others so thank you for the stay
