From the moment we arrived, it was like stepping into paradise. The reception area was so cool and welcoming and we were garlanded with flowers and given a refreshing cool towel and delicious drink. The staff were exceptionally good and accommodated our daughter at short notice. Breakfast was a delight with such a variety on offer and excellent service. The covered terrace has a good breeze. The evening meal was good and bar very relaxing too. The pool is a great place to relax surrounded by the stunning architecture of the building. We all had treatments in the hotel which were excellent. This is a perfect place to stay in Pondicherry.

A superb heritage property tucked away in the quiet lanes of Muthialpet! This huge house offers ample space with a great mix of old-world charm and modern necessity (like the water purifier and AC). The parking right at the gate was a lifesaver for our luggage. Ambrose is a wonderful host who ensured our check-in was smooth and our breakfast was on time. Suggestions to make it 5-star: We suggest a deep clean of the fridge and fixing a water leak near the ground floor washroom to improve safety. Also, we hope the management secures and opens the terrace soon—it would be a magical spot to relax under the sky. Overall, a lovely stay that I would recommend to larger groups looking for comfort and character."
